Jake Williams is a Phoenix-based instrumental guitarist and songwriter, performing original acoustic music that ranges from rootsy and lively to spacey and melancholic, often utilizing alternative tuning techniques and live looping. His shows also include a large variety of cover songs from various genres and eras, all performed instrumentally.

Jake has collaborated with many artists over the years, including bands, singers, and songwriters. He is also the guitarist, mandolinist, and ukulelist in acoustic pop duo Ditching Pat who perform throughout the US. Jake spent over a decade performing and recording as lead guitarist for pop-rock band The Parsnip Revolt and alt-rock band Raven State. He has performed coast to coast and has opened for the Gin Blossoms, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, and members of 4 Non Blondes and Cake. Jake also writes/records spacey alternative rock under the name Sun Tired.
